June Championship (5/16/2012)
We are nearing the end of a successful season, only the Championship remains. June 2 and 3rd you will be on Caddo Lake competing for either a Ranger or Express rig. That is..... if you finished in the Top 50 in points or entered all 4 Qualifing events. 71 Teams are eligible for the Championship in just a few weeks. Some of the important info you may need to be reminded of is as follows...........
1, Everyone that fishes the Championship, even A.O.L. has to pay any entry fee..$160 Total
2. There will be 5 days off limits...Monday May 28th thru Friday June 1st.... just like last year. This is done to prevent people from having to miss work or take vacation days to practice. Also, Teams fishing the Championship should not recieve information from anyone about Caddo during the off limites unless its another competitor in this event.
3. We need all Teams that are going to fish to enter by Wed May30 so we can get a "Head Count" for the meal Friday night. Spouses/ Girl friends are invited but please give the number of people per Team that will be at the meal to Big Dave when you enter.
4. There is a mandatory Rules meeting at Bayou Outdoors Friday. Check in will start at 5 :30 p.m, food served at 6:00 p.m. and meeting will start at 6:30 p.m. At least one member of each Teams needs to attend.
6. The Tournament will be held out of the Earl G Williams Park with the weigh in at the covered pavillion. You may launch any where but ALL TEAMS WILL TAKE OFF FROM THE PARK IN THE ORDER YOU FINISHED FOR THE YEAR. THIS IS NOT A TRAILER EVENT.
7. Make sure all your running lights are working before Saturday morning. Any boat that does not have operating lights will go to the end of the line and wait.
Please do not hesitate to call if you have any questions. I know most of you fish a lot of different Tournaments and the rule may run together but it is your responsibility to make sure that you and your Team Member are aware of all rules and regulations.
